What is AIR SEALANT?
AeroBarrier is an interior air sealant that efficiently seals the building envelope from the smallest of holes up to 1/2′′.
The toxic-free waterborne acrylic base is applied by spraying the aerosolized sealant into a pressurized space.The sealant is self-guided to the edges of both visible and invisible leaks creating the seal. It does not pack the gap, but accumulates across the surface of the leaks.
Application is quick, typically about 60-90 minutes and dries before the system clean up is complete allowing construction to resume shortly after with little to no impact on construction schedules.The system then measures the envelope leakage in real time, enabling the builder to dial in on specific requirements for air leakage and guarantee the results.
